Meet our expert - highly gifted specialists who love what they do. Our tutors and advisors are former teachers at the world’s top schools and universities, bringing unparalleled experience. Here’s a selection of their profiles.

JOSH

Josh holds a BA from Oxford in Modern Languages and an MA in International Affairs from Yale, where he was awarded a university scholarship. He was a Yale teaching fellow, leading weekly undergraduate seminars in history and economics and has extensive private tutoring experience. He is also a freelance writer with work published in The Atlantic, The Economist and The Financial Times, among others.

CHLOÉ

Chloé is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California Santa Cruz, where she teaches classes of around 100 undergraduates. She has also taught students from UCLA, tutorials and lab practicals at Cambridge University and was previously a research assistant at the University of British Columbia. She holds a PhD in biology from Cambridge, a Master’s from Plymouth with Distinction and a BA from Oxford.

MARGOT

An alumna of the University of Pennsylvania, Margot studied the History of Art as an undergraduate before pursuing a career in finance in New York and London. Margot served as President of the Penn Club of the UK and as a member of various organisations including the Board of the Wharton Club of the UK and the Penn Medicine London Advisory Council. She is also a former Ivy League admissions interviewer.

 

ROHAN

Rohan completed his BA in Economics and Management at Oxford, where he graduated top of his year and was awarded three academic prizes. He moved to Cambridge for his MPhil in Economics, where he again came top of the year. During his A Levels at Westminster School, he was awarded a prestigious national prize for achieving 100% in Chemistry and secured a top 10 score nationally for AS Level Economics.

PETER

Peter has taught at the world’s top universities for more than a decade. He is a former lecturer at Stanford and a research fellow at Cambridge. Peter is the author of a University of Chicago Press book. Peter holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD from Stanford.

RICHARD

Richard was awarded the highest First Class degree in his year at Oxford during his BA and MPhys. He was placed first in his year group cohort of c. 180 students in his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year examinations. He went on to complete his DPhil in theoretical physics at Oxford.

 

MILANA

An MBA graduate of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, Milana also holds a BSc in Biology from Imperial College London, where she graduated with First Class Honours. Her work has been published in the leading science journal Nature. Previously an analyst at Goldman Sachs, she has a wealth of business experience across venture capital and corporate development, and tutors our GMAT and MBA clients.

ALEX

Alex holds a First Class History degree from Cambridge and an MA from Yale, where he was awarded the Paul Mellon Fellowship. He was a Senior Editor of Yale’s international affairs magazine and a member of the university debating society. He has vast teaching experience, leading undergraduate seminars at Yale and providing private tuition in London for GCSE, A Level and Oxbridge admissions.

LOUISA

A former city lawyer, Louisa studied French and Russian at Cambridge (BA) and has an MA with distinction from SOAS, University of London, in international studies and diplomacy. She also holds a law diploma from The University of Law (with distinction) and has tutored since 2012, including languages, university admissions and law.

 

HARRY

Harry is a professional journalist with a First Class BA from Oxford in Oriental Studies, and MAs from City University in Journalism and from Kings College London in International Relations, where he was awarded a distinction. At Oxford he won the college Exhibition prize for an outstanding exam performance.

 

REEVA

Reeva is the Founder and Chairman of Vahani, a scholarship foundation for underprivileged children in India. A graduate of Yale (MA in Global Affairs) where she was awarded an academic scholarship, and Oxford (BA in psychology), she is a former vice president of an artificial intelligence company and now runs her own wellness platform, Walking on Earth. She is also a qualified Jivamukti yoga teacher.

 

BIRCE

Birce graduated from Yale with an MA in Global Affairs, where she was awarded a full-tuition scholarship and stipend and was a Teaching Fellow in Modern Languages. She also holds certificates from Stanford and Sciences Po in Paris, previously worked for Microsoft and is now a consultant for the World Bank.
